Phynox (2.4711) is a Cobalt-Chrome-Nickel alloy which is capable of very high strength levels (330ksi) after cold forming and aging. This alloy is the material of choice for many medical applications due to its high fatigue resistance as well as being biocompatible, non-magnetic and suitable for implants.
Use where a high resistance to corrosion and / or low relaxation at temperatures up to 380℃ (715℉) are required. Phynox alloy is used in medical devices, dental products, surgical implants and orthopedics.
