Permalloy 80 Strip Product Introduction
Permalloy 80 strip is a high-performance soft magnetic alloy. It is primarily composed of nickel (approximately 80%), iron, and molybdenum. Equivalent materials to Permalloy 80 include ASTM A753 Alloy 4 and MIL N-14411 Composite 1.
Permalloy 80 is highly regarded for its extremely high magnetic permeability, low coercivity, and near-zero magnetostriction. It is an ideal choice for applications such as transformer and relay cores, magnetic shielding for blocking external magnetic fields, and recording heads.
Low losses and stable magnetic properties under stress are crucial.
