Monel K500 | UNS N05500 is an age hardenable nickel-copper alloy that demonstrates excellent corrosion resistance, good strength and hardness, mostly resistant to sour-gas environments, is nonmagnetic, and is superior to Alloy 400.
Monel K500 also has great mechanical properties in sub-zero temperatures and can be found in applications that include valve components for ships, offshore drilling, oil well collars, centrifugal pumps, impellers, and other similar.
