GH1131 Description
GH1131 is a high-performance iron-based high-temperature alloy reinforced by a composite solution of tungsten, molybdenum, niobium, nitrogen, and other elements. It has a nickel content of about 28%, but its thermal strength level is lower than that of GH3044 alloy. GH1131 alloy has good hot working plasticity and welding and cold forming process properties.
GH1131 the main products include cold-rolled thin plates, hot-rolled medium plates, bars, flat steels, and wire materials. It can be used to produce high-temperature components for rocket engines that operate for a short period of time at 700-1000 ℃ and for aircraft engines that operate for a long period of time at 750 ℃.
GH1131 Heat Treatment
Hot rolled and cold-rolled thin plates are: 1130-1170 ℃, air-cooled; The bar temperature is: 1160 ℃± 10 ℃, air-cooled.

GH1131 Variety Specification Status
Cold rolled thin plates, hot-rolled plates, bars, welding wires, etc. Hot rolled and cold-rolled thin plates are supplied after solid solution treatment, acid washing, correction, and edge cutting; Supply of bars without heat treatment; The welding wire is supplied in the cold drawn state, heat treated and pickled state, or semi hard state.
Melting and Casting Process
GH1131 is produced using a non vacuum induction furnace with electroslag remelting or arc melting with electroslag remelting process.
Special Requirements
GH1131 is mainly used as high-temperature components in rocket engines. On aircraft engines, components such as the afterburner adjustable nozzle housing and adjustment plates have been made and put into production. Compared with nickel based alloys of similar uses, the high-temperature oxidation resistance and structural stability of the alloy are poor. After long-term use at 700-900 ℃, the room temperature plasticity decreases and the formability deteriorates.
Features and Applications
Long term use below 900 ° C, with high strength and good comprehensive performance. Short term use at 1000 ° C can achieve sufficient instantaneous strength; Good plasticity during hot working, easy welding, cold forming, and machinability. Turbine engine combustion chamber and afterburner parts for 900 ° C operation, as well as short-term working parts at 700-1000 ° C
