GH2696 Alloy Description
GH2696 alloy is a high-temperature alloy based on Fe-25Ni-12Cr, which is comprehensively strengthened with a small amount of titanium, aluminum, molybdenum, and trace boron. It has high yield strength, persistent and creep strength, as well as good high-temperature elasticity, gas corrosion resistance, and processing plasticity below 650 ℃.
GH2696 alloy suitable for manufacturing turbine and compressor fasteners, discs and working blades, turbine shells, annular parts (including connecting rings) that operate for a long time below 650 ℃, as well as cylindrical spiral springs that operate at 400-650 ℃. The short-term working temperature of the alloy can reach 750 ℃. GH2696 alloy can produce and supply deformation products of various shapes, such as forgings, rings, bars, plates, strips, wires, etc.
Corresponding to GB/T 14992-2005, this standard is applicable to deformed high-temperature alloys, cast high-temperature alloys (equiaxed crystal cast high-temperature alloys, directionally solidified columnar high-temperature alloys, and single crystal high-temperature alloys), high-temperature alloy wires for welding, powder metallurgy high-temperature alloys, dispersion strengthened high-temperature alloys, and intermetallic compound high-temperature materials.

GH2696 Alloy Application
GH2696 alloy is widely used in fields such as aerospace, energy and chemical engineering. Mainly used for manufacturing turbine blades, guide vanes, outer discs and other shafts of aircraft engines, it can be used to manufacture other high-temperature components of aircraft and helicopters, such as combustion chambers, nozzles, exhaust pipes, etc. In addition, GH2696 alloy can also be used for manufacturing gas turbines in power plants, high-temperature reactors and catalysts in the petroleum and chemical industries.

GH2696 Alloy Heat treatment system
The heat treatment system of GH2696 alloy has a significant impact on its microstructure and hardness. The two commonly used heat treatment systems are:
Standard I: (1100 ± 10) ℃ 1-2 hour oil cooling, (780 ± 10) ℃ 16 hour furnace cooling to (650 ± 10) ℃ 16 hour air cooling, HBW hardness value 285-341
Standard II: Oil cooling at 950-1050 ℃ for 1-2 hours, furnace cooling at 730-780 ℃ for 16 hours or air cooling at 600-650 ℃ for 10-16 hours, HBW hardness value 302-363
