GH2150 Description

GH2150 is a Fe Ni Cr based precipitation hardening deformation high-temperature alloy with a service temperature below 750 ℃. Chromium, tungsten, and aluminum elements are added to the alloy for solid solution strengthening, titanium, aluminum, and niobium elements are added to form an aging strengthening phase, and trace amounts of boron, zirconium, and cerium elements are added to purify and strengthen grain boundaries.
 
Corresponding to GB/T 14992-2005, this standard is applicable to deformed high-temperature alloys, cast high-temperature alloys (equiaxed crystal cast high-temperature alloys, directionally solidified columnar high-temperature alloys, and single crystal high-temperature alloys), high-temperature alloy wires for welding, powder metallurgy high-temperature alloys, dispersion strengthened high-temperature alloys, and intermetallic compound high-temperature materials.
 
GH2150 alloy has high strength, good plasticity, low coefficient of expansion, and stable microstructure after long-term use; GH2150 alloy has good hot working plasticity and satisfactory welding, cold forming, and cutting performance. GH2150 alloy suitable for welding load-bearing structural components of jet engine plates working below 700 ℃, as well as gas turbine rotors and compressor blades working for a long time below 600 ℃.

GH2150 Alloy Application

GH2150 alloy has been used to make high-temperature components such as aviation engine combustion chamber jackets and installation edges, and has been in good mass production and use. Similar alloys are used abroad for combustion chamber jackets in jet engines and turbine blades used below 600 ℃, and have been tested for long-term use. When the alloy is used at temperatures exceeding 800 ℃, the precipitation of μ and γ phases will aggregate and grow, leading to a decrease in the mechanical properties of the alloy. The main products include hot-rolled medium and thick plates, cold-rolled thin plates, bars, welding wires, ring parts, and forgings.

General Mechanical Properties of GH2150 High-Temperature Alloy

  • Yield strength: At room temperature, the yield strength of GH2150 alloy is usually above 900 MPa (130500 psi).
  • Tensile strength: At room temperature, the tensile strength of GH2150 alloy is usually above 1250 MPa (181250 psi).
  • Elongation:At room temperature, the elongation of GH2150 alloy is usually above 20%. Elongation represents the amount of deformation that a material can withstand before fracture, and is of great significance for the plastic deformation performance of the material.
  • Hardness:The hardness of GH2150 alloy is usually above HRC 30. Hardness is the ability of a material to resist scratches, indentations, or punctures, and can to some extent reflect the strength and wear resistance of the material.
