GH2150A Alloy Description
GH2150A is a Fe Ni Cr based precipitation hardening deformation high-temperature alloy, with a long-term usage temperature of less than 700 ℃ and a short-term usage temperature of 800 ℃. Corresponding to the standard GB/T 14993-2008, the alloy is reinforced with chromium, tungsten, and molybdenum elements for solid solution strengthening, and titanium, aluminum, and niobium elements are added to form an aging precipitate phase. The alloy has high strength, good plasticity, and good cold formability, welding, and cutting performance. The main products include hot-rolled and forged bars, square steel, plates, etc.

GH2150A Alloy Application
GH2150A alloy has been used to make high-pressure compressor stator and rotor blades for high thrust aircraft engines, and is recommended for load-bearing and high load-bearing structural components under all weather conditions, such as aircraft parts, welded ring parts, turbine shell load-bearing parts, and compressor parts.
GH2150A Alloy Heat Treatment
- Appropriate pre heat treatment and intermediate heat treatment can significantly improve the room temperature impact toughness of GH2150A alloy.
- This heat treatment is the main reason for improving the room temperature impact toughness by improving the precipitation state of grain boundary carbides and causing size matching effects in the γ 'phase.
- As the solid solution temperature increases, the grain size and grain boundary carbides of GH2150A alloy increase sequentially. When the solid solution temperature is between 1020 and 1040 ℃, the grain structure and grain boundary carbides of the alloy are small in size and uniform in structure.
- After solid solution treatment at 1020-1040 ℃, GH2150A alloy exhibits good tensile properties. Compared with the properties after heat treatment at 1060-1100 ℃, its tensile strength increases by about 20-50 MPa, yield strength increases by about 35-50 uniform MPa, and elongation and reduction of area remain basically unchanged.
