GH5605 Alloy Description
GH5605 alloy is a cobalt based high-temperature alloy reinforced with 20Cr and 15W solid solution, corresponding to the standard GB/T 14992-2005. It has moderate persistent and creep strength below 815 ℃, excellent oxidation resistance below 1090 ℃, and satisfactory forming, welding and other process properties. GH5605 alloy suitable for manufacturing hot end high-temperature components such as aviation engine combustion chambers and guide vanes that require moderate strength and excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance. GH5605 alloy can also be used on space engines and shuttles. We can produce and supply various deformed products, such as thin plates, medium plates, strips, bars, forgings, wires, and precision castings.

GH5605 Alloy Heat Treatment System
Plate and strip: 1175-1230 ℃, rapid cooling; Circular components: 1175-1230 ℃, insulation for no less than 15 minutes, water-cooled or rapid air-cooled; Bar material (for machining): 1175-1230 ℃, rapid cooling.
GH5605 Alloy Variety Specifications and Supply Status
We can supply hot-rolled medium plates with a diameter of δ ≤ 14mm, cold-rolled plates with a diameter of δ ≤ 4mm, cold-rolled strips with a diameter of δ0.05-0.80mm, cold hard strips with a diameter of δ 0.20-0.80mm, welding wires with a diameter of d0.2-10.0mm, rods with a diameter of d ≤ 300mm, and circular parts with various diameters and wall thicknesses.
Medium and thin plates are supplied after solid solution, alkaline acid washing, and edge cutting;
The strip is supplied in rolls after solid solution, alkaline acid washing, and edge cutting;
Cold hard strip is supplied after solid solution, cold rolling, annealing, polishing, and edge cutting;
Welding wires can be delivered in hard, semi hard, solid solution with acid pickling, and bright solid solution treatment conditions in a single disc, or in straight strips;
The annular parts are supplied after solid solution treatment, rough processing, or removal of oxide scale;
The bars for machining can be supplied after annealing, acid washing or polishing, while the bars for hot processing can be delivered after annealing and polishing.
Application Overview and Special Requirements of GH5605 Alloy
GH5605 Alloy mainly used on imported models for manufacturing high-temperature components such as guide vanes, turbine outer rings, outer walls, vortex generators, and sealing plates. GH5605 Alloy is sensitive to silicon content, which can promote the formation of Co2W type L-phase when exposed between 760-925 ℃, thereby reducing the room temperature plasticity of the alloy. Therefore, the silicon content in the alloy should be controlled to be less than 0.4%.
