SUS632/AISI 632/UNS S15700/1.4532/PH15-7Mo precipitation-hardening stainless steel sheet

UNS S15700 - PH15-7Mo is a semi-austenitic precipitation-hardening stainless steel known for its high strength and hardness, excellent resistance to corrosion, and minimal deformation during heat treatment.

 

PH15-7Mo obtains precipitation strengthening phase Ni3Al by adding aluminum and achieves its high strength performance by adopting heavy reduction (more than 60%) method in cold working. With easy formation during annealing and effective performance balance attained by simple heat treatment, it is an ideal choice for harsh environment applications.

 

PH 15-7Mo stainless steel sheet may be formed in a soft austenitic condition and then hardened to high strength levels by low temperature heat treatments. This allows miminum distortion compared to other quench and temper hardening processes. For maximum strength requirements, 15-7 Mo strip can be supplied in the hard-rolled Condition C for heat treatment to condition CH900.
