X10CrAlSi18 is a ferritic stainless steel with excellent heat and corrosion resistance. It can still maintain its structure and performance at high temperatures, so it is often used to manufacture components that work in high-temperature environments, such as chemical equipment, heat treatment furnaces, exhaust systems, etc.
The European standard steel grade 1.4742 corresponds to the standard EN 10095-1999. This standard specifies the technical delivery conditions for semi-finished products of heat-resistant steel and nickel alloys, hot-rolled or cold-rolled thin steel plates and strips, hot formed or cold formed bars, wire rods and profiles.

X10CrAlSi18 can improve its mechanical and processing properties through annealing treatment. Annealing treatment is usually carried out within the temperature range of 1100-1200 ℃, followed by rapid cooling.
