X10CrAlSi7 (1.4713) Description

X10CrAlSi7 is a heat-resistant ferritic stainless steel containing chromium (Cr), silicon (Si), and aluminum (Al). It has excellent heat and corrosion resistance, can withstand high temperatures of 950 ℃ in the air, and has resistance to reducing gases of sulfur-containing compounds below 850 ℃. In non corrosive environments, X10CrAlSi7 can operate at temperatures up to 800 ℃. Widely used in the production of load-bearing components, parts of steam boilers, structures of soot blowers, supports for heaters, hub covers, slides, chains, and screens.
 
The European standard steel grade 1.4713 corresponds to the standard EN 10095-1999. This standard specifies the technical delivery conditions for semi-finished products of heat-resistant steel and nickel alloys, hot-rolled or cold-rolled thin steel plates and strips, hot formed or cold formed bars, wire rods and profiles.
