Quality Inspection Details
Our quality inspection process is safeguarded by a dual-stage system comprising both initial and secondary inspections. The preliminary inspection for every shipment encompasses five fundamental checks: specifications, quantity, tolerances, surface quality, and packaging. For example:
Dimensional Tolerances: Measure the diameter of the MP35N alloy rod at multiple points using a micrometer, measure its length with a tape measure, carefully inspect the cross-sectional edges for burrs, and check the surface for oil contamination.

The second round of re-inspection comprises 3 to 6 specific data tests—such as chemical composition analysis, mechanical property testing, hardness testing, and specialized examinations. Adhering to the principle of "grounding operations in standard protocols and relying on the proper use and sterilization of testing instrumentation," multiple rounds of random sampling and data cross-verification are conducted to ensure the "correctness" of the material.

Industrial application: Key components for deep-sea oil and gas extraction
The MP35N bar stock purchased by the client is used to manufacture equipment for deep-sea oil and gas extraction. MP35N (UNS R30035) is a nickel-cobalt-chromium-molybdenum-based multiphase alloy; its most notable advantage is the combination of ultra-high strength and resistance to corrosion in extreme environments.
In deep-sea operating conditions, equipment must withstand high pressure, media with high sulfur content, seawater corrosion, and cyclic loading. Through cold working and aging treatments, MP35N can achieve a tensile strength of 1,790 to 2,090 MPa (260–300 ksi) while demonstrating excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking in hydrogen sulfide, seawater, and chloride environments. Specific applications include:
- High-pressure seals: Metal sealing assemblies for Christmas trees and downhole tools.
- Hangers and load-bearing connectors: Maintaining high strength over long periods in seawater environments.
- Springs and fasteners: Non-magnetic and corrosion-resistant, suitable for precision downhole instruments.
Industry data indicates that MP35N is virtually immune to crevice corrosion and stress corrosion in seawater environments, even at peak strength levels. This is the primary reason why deep-sea oil and gas clients choose this material.
From Samples to Orders: Customer Trials Passed, Formal Order Processing Underway
The U.S. client has now formally initiated the ordering process for a larger volume of MP35N bar stock. Lork Group’s foreign trade and production teams are coordinating with the client on matters such as technical specification confirmation, production scheduling, and the preparation of export documentation.
Guided by the principles of "reliable materials, complete documentation, and on-time delivery," Lork Group remains committed to providing high-quality alloy materials that meet international standards to customers in the global oil and gas, medical, and aerospace sectors.
