Shipping Records - Hastelloy X - ASTM B435 Nickel Alloy Strip Export to Brazil - Lork
Order Overview
Efficient Delivery: From Order to Shipment in Just 13 Days
In response to an urgent request for samples from a client in Brazil, the Lork Group team swiftly activated its rapid-response mechanism. Through efficient inter-departmental collaboration—spanning everything from raw material allocation and production scheduling to final quality inspection and export customs clearance—the entire production and shipping process was completed in just 13 days, thereby fully demonstrating the company's superior supply chain coordination capabilities within the high-end nickel alloy materials sector.
Quality Inspection Details
Our quality inspection process is safeguarded by a dual-stage system comprising both initial and secondary inspections. The preliminary inspection for every shipment encompasses five fundamental checks: specifications, quantity, tolerances, surface quality, and packaging. For example:
Dimensional Tolerances: A micrometer is used to measure the thickness and width of the Hastelloy X alloy strip at multiple points. The edges are carefully examined for burrs.
Surface Quality: Alloy X strip is susceptible to scratches, dents, and oil stains. Upon unpacking, the leading and trailing ends of the coil are subjected to a thorough inspection.

The second round of re-inspection comprises 3 to 6 specific data tests—such as chemical composition analysis, mechanical property testing, hardness testing, and specialized examinations. Adhering to the principle of "grounding operations in standard protocols and relying on the proper use and sterilization of testing instrumentation," multiple rounds of random sampling and data cross-verification are conducted to ensure the "correctness" of the material.
Chemical Composition Report: Spectroscopic Analysis Report. Key parameters monitored include Nickel (Ni) content ≥ 47.0%; Chromium (Cr) content 20.5–23.0%; Molybdenum (Mo) content 8.0–10.0%; Iron (Fe) content 17.0–20.0%; and other trace elements.
Mechanical Properties: Testing focuses on the yield strength and elongation of the 404 alloy strip. For the annealed strip, the tensile strength is approximately 110–135 ksi (758–931 MPa).
Client Feedback: Successfully Received; Testing Phase Initiated
This batch of samples was shipped via international air freight and arrived safely in Brazil five days later. Upon receipt, the client expressed full satisfaction with the packaging of the Hastelloy X alloy strips, the accompanying documentation, and the timeliness of the delivery. The samples have now officially entered the client's testing phase; a plan for bulk procurement will be advanced subsequently, based on the results of these tests.
The client remarked: "Lork Group successfully delivered high-quality samples within a short timeframe; their responsiveness and professional service were truly impressive."
