2024-12-24
Lork Group is a professional manufacturer and exporter of metal material products in China. Expertise in producing Cobalt-28 Chromium-6 Molybdenum Alloy adhering to ASTM F1537 standards has made them a trusted supplier in the medical device industry. Advanced facilities and stringent quality control measures ensure that the alloys meet the highest standards of performance and safety.
ASTM F1537 is a standard specification for Wrought Cobalt-28 Chromium-6 Molybdenum Alloy used in surgical implants. This alloy, known for its exceptional mechanical properties and biocompatibility, plays a crucial role in the medical field. This specification covers the chemical, mechanical, and metallurgical requirements for three wrought cobalt-28chromium-6molybdenum alloys used for surgical implants.
The properties specified apply specifically to wrought bar, rod, and wire. The alloys shall conform to the prescribed chemical requirements. Two tension and two bend tests shall be performed on each sample lot to determine tensile properties. Bar, rod, and wire conforming to this specification shall have a homogeneous microstructure with an average grain size of ASTM No. 5 or finer when measured.
